Viv celebrates 40 years qualified

Congratulations Viv!

Our brilliant hygienist Viv, is celebrating 40 years since she qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 1981!

We can't believe it either! 40 years of nagging her patients to floss!

We really appreciate her dedication to her profession, and her commitment to our Practice and her patients.

Well done Viv, here's to the next 40!!!

Covid-19 Control Measures Remain in Place in Dental Practice

Following the Welsh Government easing of restrictions at the weekend, we felt it was important to inform you that for healthcare, our regulations have not changed. We continue to follow Welsh Government guidelines to protect our patients, our team and our community.

What this means for you…

  • Wear a mask while attending the Practice, unless you are exempt

  • Social distancing will remain in place. We will continue to manage our appointment book so that the waiting rooms are not in use

  • Our closed door policy will remain, allowing only pre booked appointments for patients that have passed the Covid-19 screening questions to enter

  • Please arrive on time and alone, with the minimum of belongings

  • Please postpone your appointment if you, or anyone in your household, has Covid-19 symptoms

Hygienist Viv never misses an opportunity to dress up! Today she is wearing her mother's beautiful 70 year old Welsh costume. Ann-Marie and Kate are wearing our handmade Welsh flag scrub caps and future Wales rugby star J is showing us his biggest smile!

6 Nations Ready at Talbot Road

While we're all still here in Port Talbot, working at Talbot Road Dental Practice is very different this year. But our spirit is just the same. We may not be able to wear our Welsh rugby shirts, or get cwtched up for our 6 nations photos but that won't stop us getting excited! Thank you to Gaynor, dentist Janette's Mam, for making us these fabulous Welsh flag scrub hats to wear in surgery. It was her birthday yesterday. (We let her have the day off!) She's made us over 60 scrub caps and loads of scrub bags as well. Diolch Mam! It's also hygienist Viv's birthday today! Penblwydd hapus Viv, and C'mon Wales! - we'll be watching on Sunday.

Pinch, Punch, 1st of the month!
Will you be taking part in #GoFizzFree this February?
In February 2021 we are encouraging children and adults to give up fizzy drinks in February in order to reduce their sugar intake, lose weight, save money and keep their teeth healthy.
