We are pleased to inform you that we have been successful in achieving a Gold Award in 2024 as part of the Greener Primary Care Wales Framework and Award Scheme.
What is the Greener Primary Care Wales Framework and Award Scheme?
The scheme from Public Health Wales has been designed to help independent primary care contractors to improve the environmental sustainability of their day-to-day practice.
Why is it important?
Climate change affects us all and can have negative impacts on individual and population health. We all need to do our part to mitigate climate change. That is why we as a Practice have taken part in the Framework since 2022. Gold is the top achievable award. Thank you to Clare for her hard work in coordinating the application and the video on our Facebook and Instagram sites.
 

Back to school for our team!

We are delighted to announce that Ann-Marie, Richard, Sophie, Kate, Nicky, Clare, Grace and Isabella have attended and passed their emergency First Aid at Work Course.

For some of them it was all new, and for others a refresher, but now they all have the ability and confidence to use first aid skills in a real-life situation, after being assessed using a range of practical demonstrations.

Our thanks to Paul Staddon from A Star Training (Wales) for leading a fun and informative session.

Why have they done the emergency first aid course?

Having members of the team at Talbot Road Dental Practice who have passed their emergency first aid at work course means they both have the skills and confidence to respond to a range of first aid emergencies and accidents, caring for our patients and fellow staff members! It also meets the requirements specified by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.

Busy Half-term at Talbot Road!

Help your little ones with their tooth brushing

Are you looking to help your children with their tooth brushing?

We recommend a fun flashing toothbrush to encourage the little ones to brush for the recommended 2 minutes.
