Important Update - Coronavirus Covid-19 and your dental appointment

Following new guidelines we have received from the Dental Director at Swansea Bay University Health Board, regrettably we must postpone all non-essential dental treatments until further notice. This is aimed at slowing the transmission of COVID-19 and protecting our patients and team.

Patients with a genuine dental emergency will be seen by appointment only. Please do not turn up at the practice without ringing to make an appointment. Appointments will be staggered to reduce collective waiting. Can we politely ask that if you are attending the surgery that you attend alone, unless you need assistance. This is to reduce the footfall through the practice.

This is a worldwide, unprecedented and challenging time for everyone. The health and safety of our patients and team remain our priority.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Coronavirus and your dental appointment.

The NHS is well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases and has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

We are continuing to monitor this situation closely and receive guidance from Public Health Wales and the British Dental Association.

Check the gov.uk website for advice on your travel and contact history and the latest COVID-19 information before attending the dental practice. You may need to call NHS 111 for further advice before making or attending your appointment.

When you enter the practice, you will be asked to use the hand gel provided.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions

New Member of our Team!

We are pleased to welcome Clare to our team. Clare is a local girl with a wealth of experience in retail and customer service. She is looking forward to starting her dental nurse training, a 2 year course which will see her qualify as a registered dental nurse.

All dental nurses must be registered, or working towards their registration, with The General Dental Council. Once qualified, Continuing Professional Development is a core requirement of registration. In our practice we regularly train as a whole team, dentists, hygienist and dental nurses, to ensure we are providing the best care for our patients. Topics covered include CPR, Radiography, Safeguarding and Cross Infection.
